Founded in 1967 and located on 125 acres midway between Nashville and Rocky Mount, Nash Community College is the educational backbone of our region. North Carolina Wesleyan University is a private Methodist university founded in 1956, located on a beautiful 200-acre campus in Rocky Mount. Lune Spark is a Center for Creativity that has been nurturing young artists since 2015, now thriving across Apex, Chapel Hill, and Holly Springs with over 1,000 participants and 50+ courses. From visual arts and music production to acting, filmmaking, animation, and creative writing, Lune Spark is building the next generation of North Carolina's creative talent -- and doing it with the kind of passion and quality that earns Maggy Awards for Best New Business and Best Art Camps.
